The fifth season of the EHL gets underway on Friday at 09.30 (CET) when Polish champions WKS Grunwald Poznan take on Pool G rivals Dinamo Elektrostal of Russia at the picturesque HTC Uhlenhorst in Mulheim, Germany.
The event will feature some of the most famous names in the sport, with players such as Teun de Nooijer (HC Bloemendaal / Netherlands), Ashley Jackson (East Grinstead / Great Britain), Santi Freixa (Atlétic Terrassa / Spain) and recent EuroHockey Nations Cup winner Thilo Stralkowski (HTC Uhlenhorst / Germany) expected to be in action. These stars will be fighting hard to ensure that their respective teams avoid an early exit from the world’s finest club competition.
